Donna and John were married at Leeds Castle, the loveliest castle in the world, on 26th October 2016.
The Bride arrived for prep at the castle with her makeup and hair artists and everything ran very smoothly. Duncan was able to capture lots of shots of the Bridal flowers, shoes and jewellery while I concentrated on capturing lots of shots of Donnas prep with the girls. Time flew and before long Donna was ready to get dressed in her beautiful gown. Duncan stayed downstairs with the boys capturing some shots of John greeting guests, family and friends whilst I was able to capture some shots of Donna as she put on her finishing touches and made her way downstairs on the arm of her proud dad.
The ceremony was held in the stunning Castle Dining Room with the imposing fireplace as a backdrop for the couple as they said their vows.
After the ceremony we had lots of time to spend with Donna, John and their guests working through our list of priority shots that we had prepared with Donna in the run up to the big day.
We then whisked the couple off on their golf buggy with their daughter for some lovely shots in the grounds before returning just as the sun was dipping to join the rest of their guests for wonderful speeches and a feast in the Banqueting Hall.
Donna and John requested the company of their guests in the Fairfax Hall for an evening of food and dancing so guests made their way from the main Castle across the bridge in the cool but clear evening air, taking in the beautiful sight of the castle by night, and then witnessed them taking their first dance as Husband and Wife.
A truly beautiful day surrounded by a fantastic bunch of people. Thank you for having us along to capture your day Donna and John. We wish you all the best for a wonderful life together!
