Claire & Rob
The Orangery Maidstone
Claire and Rob’s beautiful summer wedding was held at The Orangery Maidstone on a very sunny July day. She wore a dress designed by Pronovias from Love Bridal and her bridesmaids all wore pale pink dresses from Debenhams, the boys were all very smart in their dark navy tuxedos.
The Orangery was dressed in an ivory colour scheme and a subtle hint of gold by Yvonne from Dressing Rooms with flowers supplied by Jill and her husband from Passion Floral Design who we love working with as they always produce stunning weddings.
The wedding cake was handmade by Mrs R Bakes from Rose’s Tea Room in Kent, it consisted of four tiers, chocolate, lemon, vanilla & strawberry, and pecan praline. The fresh flowers were added by the florist to decorate the buttercream icing.
Our favourite photos from their wedding have to be the golden hour shots, we just love shooting at this time of day. The couple is more relaxed as the formal part of the day is finished and its all about relaxing with your friends and family. This enables us to shoot lovely romantic pictures for the couple to treasure.
Claire and Rob are also featured in the Autumn issue of A Kentish Ceremony magazine, in the real-life wedding section. To read or order a copy of the magazine please click this link.
Claire’s wedding day tip for other Brides.
“Don’t worry! On the day nothing will matter except the love you feel. Take a deep breath and look around on the day, drink it in and remember the faces of all your friends and family enjoying themselves”.
